Artist’s Statement
These paintings were inspired by the beauty of a rare, spring, snow storm in Georgia. Forsythia and other spring flowers had begun to bloom. My goal with these paintings was to capture the startling and beautiful contrasts of winter and spring and their cold and warm elements.
